Biography: Family notes, according to Nona who per Geneva Lucy Nichols Coenen, was Leona Henrietta Nichols, her older sister. Old Auntie Mueller told Henry after he came to Wisconsin after the divorce to go back to MN and get his wife and children. It is said that Louisa and Henry were re-married in St. Paul, MN.
Biography: Per Geneva Lucy Nichols Coenen, the sword Henry Nichols Sr. carried in the Civil War was passed down to son Philip who in turn gave it to Hattie "Mary Henrietta .. A foot long with steel blade and brass sheath, Nona "Leona Henrietta Nichols" had it and it seems to have burned in a fire. But do have picture of Henry in uniform. And he gets a flag by his grave every memorial day.
